Fès Sable Hand-Glazed Ceramic Basin

The Fès Sable Basin is finished in soft bands of sand, honey and caramel. They are brushed on by hand while the basin turns on the potter's wheel, which leaves fine concentric lines that swirl down towards the drain and wrap around the outside. The result looks like layered sandstone, desert dunes or the grain of natural timber. It's a finish that feels organic and calm.

Because the bands are applied by hand, each basin has its own pattern of tone and texture, and no two are quite the same.

The deep, drum-like bowl sits above the counter. It pairs beautifully with brushed brass or aged gold tapware, and with travertine, limestone and cream marble benchtops. It also works with warm plastered walls, timber vanities, rattan and linen. It suits Japandi, organic modern, coastal, wabi-sabi and luxury contemporary interiors, and brings a relaxed, spa-like warmth to ensuites and powder rooms.

Made to order in your size

Each basin is made to order. Sizes start at 20 cm in diameter for compact powder rooms and guest bathrooms, and go up to larger statement sizes for main bathrooms and double vanities. Tell us your preferred diameter and your benchtop layout, and we'll confirm the dimensions, lead time and freight before production begins.

Care

Clean with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals and scouring pads, which can dull the glaze over time.

Please note

Each basin is hand-thrown and hand-finished, so variations in banding, tone, glaze and dimensions are natural to the craft and part of its charm. Waste, pop-up and tapware are sold separately. Installation by a licensed plumber is recommended.

Returns & Cancellations:

As all our products are handcrafted to order, we have a specific returns policy:

• Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase
• After 24 hours: cancellations are not accepted as production may have begun
• Damaged items: we replace or refund any product damaged during shipping — photo evidence required
• Custom orders (custom colors, sizes, patterns) are non-refundable
• Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery

All Andalusian products are made to order by our master artisans in Fez, Morocco:
