Capanna del Focolare – Handmade Italian Nativity with Lights & Fire Effect

A little stable warmed by firelight, handmade in Italy. Capanna del Focolare ("the stable by the hearth") is a traditional Italian presepe set into a rugged cork hillside. Beneath a lean-to roof of cork slabs, the Holy Family gathers before a rustic wooden manger filled with straw, while a small stone house with a wooden door sits on the hill above.

In the right-hand corner, a little fire pit of cut logs and coals glows with a flickering, flame-coloured light, casting a warm amber glow across the cork walls. Switch it on and the lights and fire effect bring the whole scene to life, ready for a shelf, mantel or side table.

Every rock, roof and tuft of moss is shaped by hand from natural cork, wood, moss and paper, so no two pieces are ever the same. This is a rare collector piece from The Christmas Collection, with only 6 available.
