At Fountain Store, our marble fountains, ornaments, statues and fireplaces are made to order as custom commissions. Please read the following terms carefully before placing a custom order — by paying your deposit, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Deposit and Commission
A deposit is required to commission your custom piece. This deposit confirms your order and initiates the design process, including preparation of drawings for your approval.
2. Progress Payment
Once your drawings are reviewed and agreed, and your marble batch and colour are confirmed, an advance progress payment is required before production begins.
3. Balance Payment
The remaining balance is payable in full prior to shipping. Goods will not be dispatched until the balance has been received.
4. Pricing
All quoted prices exclude installation and delivery. Delivery is calculated separately from our main distribution centre in Sydney, based on your location and the size/weight of the piece.
5. Lead Times
Typical turnaround for custom orders is 6–8 weeks from final drawing approval and deposit confirmation. Lead times may vary depending on design complexity, chosen material, and the size of the piece. Estimated timeframes will be communicated at the time of order and are subject to change.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
As all pieces are made to order, no refunds are available once drawings have been agreed and marble batch/colour has been confirmed. If you change your mind or cancel your order after this confirmation stage, your 25% deposit paid on commission will be forfeited. This policy exists because production materials are ordered and work begins specifically to your approved specifications.
7. Natural Stone Variation
All our pieces are crafted from natural marble and stone. As a natural material, gentle variation in colour, veining and texture may occur between batches and individual pieces. This is a normal characteristic of natural stone and is not considered a fault or defect.
8. Scope
These terms apply to all custom-made marble fountains, garden ornaments, statues and fireplaces commissioned through Fountain Store.
