The Caldera Bowl Fountain combines a simple, sculptural silhouette with the rich character of weathering corten steel. Its wide hemispherical bowl measures 1 metre across and 60 cm high and rests on a recessed round plinth, so it appears to float just above the ground.

Corten steel develops a deep rust-colour patina that changes and matures over time, giving each fountain its own natural character and helping it blend into planted gardens, stone paving and contemporary architecture.

The bowl is filled almost to the rim, creating a calm, reflective surface. A single central jet rises from the middle and falls softly back into the water, sending gentle ripples outward with a relaxing, natural sound.

At night, the warm white light beneath the jet turns the rising water into a glowing golden column, making the Caldera a striking evening centrepiece for outdoor entertaining.

Care notes

·       Corten steel may release rust run-off during the first months as the patina forms. Place it away from light-coloured paving, or protect the surrounding surface, until the patina stabilises.

·       Keep the bowl topped up so the pump never runs dry, especially in hot or windy weather.

·       Adjust the jet height on windy days to reduce splash.

·       Clean the pump regularly and use a fountain-safe water treatment to reduce algae.

·       Colour and patina vary from piece to piece and continue to develop over time. This is a natural feature of corten steel.
