A rustic Italian mill village, handmade in Italy. Casale della Mola ("the mill house") is a traditional Neapolitan presepe set in a weathered stucco farmhouse with exposed red brick. A large arched grotto with timber beams and a cork-bark pillar waits for the Holy Family, beside an arched wooden double door. To the right, a little grey timber mill house with a terracotta roof stands by its spoked water wheel, reached by a plank footbridge and a rustic wooden fence. Above, a wooden railing leads to a straw-thatched shelter and small cream houses with red roofs perched on a cork hilltop.
Switch it on and the water wheel turns while small warm lights glow at the doorways, the mill and the hilltop windows, bringing the whole village to life. Every wall, beam and tuft of moss is shaped by hand from natural cork, wood, moss and paper.
A collector's piece. With only 4 available, this is a characterful piece to treasure and bring out Christmas after Christmas.
