Fès Sultane Hand-Painted Ceramic Basin

The Fès Sultane Basin is painted in deep black on warm ivory. Eight large petal-shaped medallions open around the drain like a blooming flower. Each one frames a scrolling arabesque that resembles a stylised lily. Between the medallions sit panels of fine dotted lattice, and a ring of small star-shaped motifs circles the drain. A patterned border and a glossy black rim frame the whole design.

Every line and dot is painted by hand, so the design has a depth and precision that printed ceramics can't match. No two basins are quite the same.

The wide, flared bowl sits above the counter and shows off the full painted interior. It pairs beautifully with brushed brass or aged gold tapware, cream marble, limestone and travertine benchtops, and warm plastered walls. It suits Moroccan, Andalusian, Art Deco, monochrome and luxury heritage interiors, and makes a striking focal point in a powder room or guest bathroom.

Made to order in your size

Each basin is made to order. Sizes start at 20 cm in diameter for compact powder rooms and guest bathrooms, and go up to larger statement sizes for main bathrooms and double vanities. Tell us your preferred diameter and your benchtop layout, and we'll confirm the dimensions, lead time and freight before production begins.
