This basin is handmade in Fès, a city known for centuries of ceramic craftsmanship, and each one is shaped and glazed by artisans. It's simple, classic and quietly elegant.
The Fès Laurier Basin is glazed in clean ivory-white inside and out. A broad band of glossy deep green wraps the rim, a colour with long roots in Fassi pottery and in the green-tiled roofs of Morocco's mosques and palaces. That single band of colour frames the bowl and gives it definition.
The glaze and rim band are applied by hand, so each basin varies slightly in tone and line, and no two are quite the same.
The flared, rounded bowl sits above the counter. It pairs well with brushed brass or aged gold tapware, cream marble, limestone and travertine benchtops, and warm plastered walls or timber vanities. It suits English country, heritage, modern Mediterranean, organic and luxury contemporary interiors, and looks especially good alongside indoor planting and natural materials.
Made to order in your size
Each basin is made to order. Sizes start at 20 cm in diameter for compact powder rooms and guest bathrooms, and go up to larger statement sizes for main bathrooms and double vanities. Tell us your preferred diameter and your benchtop layout, and we'll confirm the dimensions, lead time and freight before production begins.
