Fès Égée Hand-Glazed Basin

This is glazed in clean ivory-white inside and out. A broad band of glossy cobalt blue wraps the rim, the colour most closely linked with Fès pottery. Faint throwing lines from the potter's wheel still show through the glaze, a quiet reminder that each basin is made by hand.

The glaze and rim band are applied by hand, so each basin has subtle variations in tone and line, and no two are quite the same.

The deep, rounded bowl sits above the counter. It pairs well with brushed brass or aged gold tapware, and just as well with chrome or brushed nickel. It suits cream marble, limestone and travertine benchtops, white or warm plastered walls, and whitewashed timber vanities. It works in coastal, Hamptons, Mediterranean, Greek-island and modern farmhouse interiors, and brings a crisp, breezy feel to ensuites, powder rooms and beach houses.

Made to order in your size

Each basin is made to order. Sizes start at 20 cm in diameter for compact powder rooms and guest bathrooms, and go up to larger statement sizes for main bathrooms and double vanities. Tell us your preferred diameter and your benchtop layout, and we'll confirm the dimensions, lead time and freight before production begins.
