This basin is handmade in Fès, a city with centuries of ceramic and metalwork tradition. It is shaped and painted by artisans, then finished with a hand-applied antique metal rim.
The Fès Cèdre Basin is painted in deep forest green on bright ivory. At its centre, a lotus-like flower opens around the drain. Around it are stacked bands of Berber-inspired geometry: interlocking diamonds, fine dotted grids, rope-like lines and a top tier of scalloped arches. The pattern continues on the outside of the bowl.
A broad metal band with an aged, antique patina wraps the rim, and a matching band sits at the base. Together they give the basin the look of a treasured heirloom.
Every line is painted by hand, and every patina develops a little differently, so no two basins are quite the same.
The flared bowl sits above the counter. It pairs beautifully with aged or brushed brass tapware, cream marble, limestone and travertine benchtops, warm plastered walls and timber vanities. It suits Moroccan, heritage, rustic luxury, English country and organic modern interiors. It's ideal for a powder room or ensuite that needs warmth and character.

Each basin is made to order. Sizes start at 20 cm in diameter for compact powder rooms and guest bathrooms, and go up to larger statement sizes for main bathrooms and double vanities. Care
Clean the ceramic with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Wipe the metal rim dry after use. Avoid bleach, abrasive pads, metal polish and harsh chemicals, which can strip the antique patina.
Please note
The ceramic is hand-thrown and hand-painted, and each metal finish is aged by hand. Slight variations in pattern, colour, glaze, patina and dimensions are natural to the craft and part of its charm. Waste, pop-up and tapware are sold separately. Installation by a licensed plumber is recommended.
