The Fès Safran Basin is painted in cobalt blue, deep burgundy, emerald green and saffron on warm ivory. A bold cobalt quatrefoil forms a cross-shaped medallion at the centre, set around a burgundy core that frames the drain. Between its arms sit ivory palmettes outlined in green and touched with saffron and blue. A band of fine cobalt lattice circles the design, and a scalloped saffron border and a green rim finish the edge.
Every line and dot is painted by hand, so the design has the vibrancy and depth of true artisan work. No two basins are quite the same.
The wide, flared bowl sits above the counter and shows off the full design. It pairs especially well with brushed brass or aged gold tapware, cream marble, limestone and travertine benchtops, and warm plastered or tadelakt walls. It suits Moroccan, Andalusian, bohemian and eclectic heritage interiors. It makes a joyful statement in a powder room, guest bathroom or boutique hospitality space.
