Fès Rayon Hand-Painted Ceramic Basin

The Fès Rayon Basin is painted in broad alternating stripes of deep black and warm ivory. They radiate from the drain in a sunburst, and each black stripe is applied with visible brushstrokes, giving it depth, texture and movement. A black rim frames the design, so from above the whole basin reads as a striking graphic.

Because the stripes are painted freehand, their widths and edges vary gently, so no two basins are quite the same. That handmade quality sets it apart from factory-made monochrome basins.

The flared bowl sits above the counter. It looks best against quiet surroundings: brushed brass or aged gold tapware, cream marble, limestone and travertine benchtops, and warm plastered walls. It suits contemporary, Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, monochrome and eclectic interiors, and makes an instant focal point in a powder room.

Made to order in your size

Each basin is made to order. Sizes start at 20 cm in diameter for compact powder rooms and guest bathrooms, and go up to larger statement sizes for main bathrooms and double vanities. Tell us your preferred diameter and your benchtop layout, and we'll confirm the dimensions, lead time and freight before production begins.
