Fès Ardoise Hand-Painted Ceramic Basin

The Fès Ardoise Basin is painted in soft slate grey on bright ivory. Rows of concentric arches, like overlapping ripples or fish scales, spiral outward from the drain and cover the inside of the bowl. Outside, the arches repeat in a continuous wave around the drum-shaped body, framed by fine painted lines at the base. A clean ivory rim keeps the look light and fresh.

Every arch is painted by hand, so the pattern has a gentle movement and subtle irregularity that printed ceramics can't match. No two basins are quite the same.

The straight-sided drum shape sits above the counter and looks clean and architectural. It pairs beautifully with brushed brass or aged gold tapware, and equally well with brushed nickel or matte black. It suits cream marble, limestone and travertine benchtops, and warm plastered walls. The muted grey makes it one of the easiest basins in the collection to style. It suits modern Mediterranean, Japandi, coastal, Hamptons and luxury contemporary interiors.

Tell us your preferred diameter and your benchtop layout, and we'll confirm dimensions, lead time and freight before production begins.
