The Sabina Bonsai Cascade Fountain brings the calm of a Japanese garden to your outdoor space. Standing 160 cm tall on a 70 x 50 cm footprint, it makes a striking feature for courtyards, patios, entryways, pool areas and Asian or zen-inspired gardens.

A gnarled, hand-finished trunk twists up from a rugged slate-grey rock face and opens into a full canopy of tiered artificial bonsai pine. Beside the trunk, water spills from a small top pot into a carved jug, then pours into a large patterned urn before settling in the round basin below. The basin has a stacked-stone wall finish and is dressed with coloured pebbles and a lush artificial leafy plant at its base. The result is a gentle, soothing trickle of running water that suits relaxed outdoor living.

After dark, warm white LED lights glow from two hollows carved into the trunk, lighting the tree and the cascade below for a soft, natural evening glow.

The finish combines a rich dark-brown trunk, weathered slate-grey rock and stone, and golden-ochre pots with an antique wash that brings out their carved swirl detailing, all set off by the bright green foliage.

The Sabina is made from sandstone cement fibre, a strong, weather-resistant material made for outdoor use. It runs on a low-voltage 12 V pump and LED lights, which are safe and simple to use outdoors, and holds about 30 L of water. It arrives in one piece, complete with the artificial bonsai canopy and plants, so there's no assembly needed. It's covered by a 12-month warranty. At around 33 kg, it's sturdy and stable while still easy to position.

Setup

• Supplied in one piece, so there's no assembly needed.
• Place on a level, solid surface that can carry around 33 kg plus the weight of water.
• Position near a weatherproof outdoor power point.
• Arrange the artificial plant and pebbles in the basin, then fill with water.
• Connect the pump and lights, switch on, and adjust the flow if needed.

Care notes

• Keep the water topped up so the pump never runs dry, especially in hot or windy weather.
• Clean the pump and pots regularly and use a fountain-safe water treatment to reduce algae.
• Wipe surfaces with a soft brush or cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals and pressure washers.
• Gently dust or rinse the artificial foliage to keep it looking fresh. For best colour life, choose a spot with some shade from harsh afternoon sun.
• In very cold areas, drain the fountain and switch off the pump during frost.
