Sidharta – Large Seated Buddha Statue | 150 cm | Cement & Sandstone | Outdoor

Sidharta is a grand seated Buddha that becomes the heart of any garden. At 150 cm tall and a full metre wide, he sits cross-legged in deep meditation with an alms bowl resting in his hands. His face is calm, with downcast eyes, long earlobes and finely curled hair rising to a topknot.

Soft robe folds drape over his shoulders and fall over the front of the base. The textured white finish has the gentle, weathered look of carved temple stone.

Made for outdoors
Sidharta is made from a cement and sandstone mixture and handles Australian outdoor conditions well. At about 60 kg he's solid and very stable, so he needs no stand. He's ideal garden décor as the centrepiece of a zen or Bali-style garden, beside a pond, in a courtyard or at the end of a long view. He's equally striking in a large foyer or meditation space.

Sidharta is part of our Handcrafted Indonesian Collection, alongside Dewi, Bodhi and Shanti in the same white finish.
